Not bad news
A short announcement to all my friends in Fallout. Forthwith, I will only engage with historical content on this platform and for our team. There will be some book reviews in podcasts and perhaps a final talk on a long promised platform for the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Aachen.
I am a Patreon friend of WW2TV and Damcasters, who remain my friends, and I also actively endorse Parallax and Unconventional Soldier, which I recommend. No doubt at some stage Ben and Dustin will interrogate me on this decision but I feel I owe loyalty and debt to this platform while it’s been a very tough year. Time to return your kindnesses!
The future subjects will be the promised e-book on Wittmann, a study of allied infantrymen with a close friend from Twitter, some Luftwaffe content and Ben will be supporting some kit building talks. My Aachen book will be published by Hurst in September 2024, I will be writing a new book on the impact of history writing on British politics, and there is a secret project being worked up which involves the drone and more GIS mapping. All will be discussed in due course.
