This week our guest was Niels Henkemans and we talked about his forthcoming new series of books about the German Army in Normandy.
- the series concentrate on the Cotentin region of Normandy but the books effectively the entire German campaign.
- the first book focuses upon the command system and the infantry divisions, the spine and backbone of the Army.
- we had two sessions, the first a general talk about the book. A second session was for our subscribers only and covered aspects of the campaign in detail.
- we discussed the other side of the hill in regard to the Band of Brothers Series.
- perhaps one of the most important aspects of the books are Niels GIS maps and his location and identification of all German units.
