End of Summer
Thoughts
Why do I feel its 1935 and we are staring at the combination of fascist moron maniacs like Trump, Xi and Putin, combining with the utterly corrupt moron apex capitalist predators in Zuckerberg, Musk and Kochs? At least Porsche was a genius and Krupp could organise shit, unlike Space Nazi Moron (he hires people to do his work - and Tesla he didn’t found, while Space X is a tax-sponsored welfare queen, because all libertarians bros are just parasites on the government and society).
Space will be the domain of the ultra-rich. And they will live forever like the vampire monster who drinks his sons blood, endlessly accumulating capital in their black holes of wealth.
Yeah, that monster looks older than me despite being younger.
What narcissist murder scum he is.
Drinking your child’s blood.

Book of the week
The Atrocity Archives

Funny and complex. Lovecraft, magick and British bureaucracy.
But by the time we get to the Annihilation Score, the author goes for the cheap thrills of superheroes. Bored tropes. Boris Johnson, one of the two Nazi home secretaries amalgated into one (Priti Nazi and Brainless Truss), Islamic jihad magic, mermaids and other shite.
Parrallax Views podcast
Come on sheeple, revolt!
After a break due to Hurricane Idalia, Parallax Views is back! Earlier this year I spoke with Matt Clement, editor of the recent books anthology No Justice, No Police?: The Politic of Protest and Social Change. Matt and I discussed the radical movements seeking to reform or even abolition policing in the U.S. and U.K. since the advent of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement took off. We'll discuss where these efforts are today and the different perspectives on policing, police brutality, police killing, and related topics in this conversation

Budd of the week
This war doesn’t just kill on the battlefield or in attacks on civilians
Thousands of Ukrainians will die at their own hands in the aftermath of the war. These people are working to limit that.

If you’re feeling like the world would do better without you, especially your family and friends, that’s not true. Talk with them. They don’t want you to go.
And if you’re not feeling that bad… try and say a nice word to somebody who looks sad. Give them a compliment, buy them a coffee, smile at them, maybe give them a hug.
