Update for friends and followers
Tomorrow, I am flying to Lisbon to present a paper on History and Social Media to a an academic conference. A copy of the paper will be uploaded next week, after I have decided the final version. The final editing will continue up to Friday morning when it’s delivered!
I want to thank all our friends and followers for your kind support. The past six months, if not the entire year, has been quite challenging. Editing a book, writing two others and running social media content has been demanding. Two factors have made things difficult - care for my Father and his Alzheimer’s has been unnecessarily complicated and my own health took a hiccup during August. Trying to catch up has not been easy and now it’s time for Lisbon. My apologies to those who await content, I hope to get that to you of week 27 November.
We are behind on projects but not that far. I need a month of dedicated writing time, which should complete the Wittmann story and another book. Like all things, plans get disrupted but hopes are high for December. Two days will be spent leading a staff ride around the Ardennes following the route of 1st SS Panzer Division's dismal performance, but that’s the last commitment of the year. Pictures from that will be uploaded in due course.
Anyway, just a brief note of thanks.
Best wishes
Phil
